Molto bello è anche Il Senso di Smilla per la Neve (tratto anche da un bellissimo romanzo). Non è un film d'avventura, ma è ambientato comunque in Groenlandia (credo che siano simili come ambientazioni).

Ambientato in Alaska è anche il film divertentissimo '8 cani sotto zero'.
